    Funding for Research in Pathway Analysis Across Neurodegenerative Diseases

    The EU Joint Programme on Neurodegenerative Disease Research (JPND) launches a call for "Multinational Research Projects for Pathway Analysis across Neurodegenerative Diseases" in 2017.

    The objective of the call is to perform analyses across the following diseases and identify common underlying mechanisms:

    • Alzheimer's disease and other dementias
    • Parkinson's disease and PDÔÇÉrelated disorders
    • Prion diseases
    • Motor neuron diseases
    • Huntington's disease
    • Spinocerebellar ataxia (SCA)
    • Spinal muscular atrophy (SMA)

    Up to six academic research groups from at least three countries may collaborate within a consortium.

    Before submitting a pre-proposal, interested researchers are requested to contact the SNSF Administrative Offices to make sure that their project meets the eligibility requirements.
