Public Survey on the Charter of Access for Industrial Users to Research & Technology Infrastructures
The European Commission has launched a public survey to gather input from stakeholders on a new Charter for access for industrial users to research and technology infrastructures. It will be based on the revised Charter for access to research infrastructures, but will specifically focus on the access for companies, especially small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs), startups and scaleups.
The Charter aims to improve access through six proposed principles:
- Increased visibility and availability of services
- Transparency and quality of services
- Simplified contract and agreement procedures
- Safe intellectual property management
- Priority to companies in the EU
- Cooperation between infrastructures and access to data.
Stakeholders are invited to contribute until 10 December 2025.
