New Year's Mail 2024 from Euresearch
Welcome to 2024 and a very happy new year!
In the coming year, we will continue to be at your side to help you with questions about the many funding opportunities offered by Horizon Europe! Currently, Swiss entities can participate in most collaborative Horizon Europe calls and funding will be provided by the Swiss government until Switzerland becomes associated to the programme.
Update on Status of Switzerland in Horizon Europe
A transitional arrangement was agreed between Switzerland and the EU in December 2023. The Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI) therefore encourages researchers to be prepared to submit their proposal to the European Research Council Advanced Grant 2024 call. Swiss-based submissions will only be possible if negotiations between Switzerland and the EU on the package approach and on the association to the Horizon package have started.

The European Research & Innovation Days 20 & 21 March 2024, the annual flagship event of the European Commission, brings together policy makers, researchers, entrepreneurs, and the public to discuss and shape the future of research and innovation.

New National Contact Point 2024
