Global Health EDCTP3 Partnership: Work Programme & Open Calls

The Global Health EDCTP3 Joint Undertaking has recently released its Work Programme 2023 which puts particular emphasis on capacity building and training. Calls for proposals have been published too as of 14th April, 2023. With a budget of 74.30 Million EUR, one-stage calls (HORIZON-JU-GH-EDCTP3-2023-01) will have 4 topics for Research and Innovation Actions (RIAs) and one topic for Coordination and Support Actions (CSAs) on topics such as Ebola outbreaks in Sub-Saharan Africa, strengthening ethics and regulatory capacity and fellowships for clinical research.
The opening date for submission is 10th May, 2023 with deadline 29th June 2023 at 17:00 Brussels local time. 

For two-stage calls (HORIZON-JU-GH-EDCTP3-2023-02-two-stage) only successful applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal after the first stage. The opening date for submission for this first stage is 27th May, 2023 with deadline 28th September 2023 at 17:00 (UTC+2) and deadline for the second-stage of 28th March, 2024 at 17:00 (UTC+1). This call will have two RIAs topics on deployment and uptake of vaccines and point-of-care diagnostics. The total budget for the two-stage calls is 56 Million EUR.

Swiss entities are eligible to participate in the calls and if successful, funding will be secured via State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation.
