EIT Food Seedbed TeamUp Calls

EIT Food Seedbed TeamUp connects leading technologists with entrepreneurial business professionals to co-create impactful agrifood startups.

The TeamUp journey comprises 4 steps:

- Application: Sign up as a technologist, startup, or business professional.
- Matchmaking: We facilitate the search for your "perfect match" co-founder.
- Exploration: Spend 3 months co-creating your business model with expert coaching and a €2,000 stipend.
- Graduation: Pitch your venture for a chance to secure up to €40,000 in equity-free funding from EIT Food.

The calls for expression of interest is open until 1 June 2026. Individuals chosen through this EOI will be invited to join a 6-week online matchmaking programme to help them find an ambitious and motivated co-founder with complementary skills and experience in business, negotiation, fundraising and sales.  

Expression of Interest for Business & Commercial Co-founder profiles. You should apply to this call if you:
- Want to build an impactful agrifood technology aligned with EIT Food’s Missions
- Want to help bring a novel technology or innovation to market but lack the technology expertise
- Are passionate about entrepreneurship and building an agrifood startup
- Seek a co-founder to lead the technology side

Expression of Interest for Technology Co-founder profiles. You should apply to this call if you:
- Have an impactful agrifood technology aligned with EIT Food’s Missions
- Want to commercialise your solution but face challenges doing so
- Are passionate about entrepreneurship and building an agrifood startup
- Seek a co-founder to lead the business side

- 26 May 2026, 16:00 CET: Info webinar for interested Tech applicants. Register here  
- 1 June, 13:00 CET applications closed
- 8-10 June 2026: Invitations sent to selected applicants
- 15 June 2026: Seedbed TeamUp Kickoff
- 28 July 2026: Matchmaking phase ends
