Digital Call Cancelled: HORIZON-CL4-2025-03-DIGITAL-EMERGING-09 "GenAI4EU Booster"

The Challenge-Driven GenAI4EU Booster (HORIZON-CL4-2025-03-DIGITAL-EMERGING-09) call topic has been cancelled. During the application process, the Commission identified that parts of the call documentation lacked sufficient clarity, which could have created unfair evaluation conditions or legal uncertainties for applicants and took the decision to cancel the call in accordance with the General Annexes of the HE Work Programme 2025 in order to protect applicants' interests.

The Commission has committed to republish this call topic in the 2026 Work Programme at the earliest opportunity, with necessary technical and legal refinements to provide greater clarity. They have emphasised their continued commitment to supporting this research area and will organise dedicated information sessions when the call reopens to support the community preparing proposals.
