Urgent Partner Search for a WP Leader for an Existing Consortium - Cluster 6
RWTH Aachen University and Tecnalia (project coordinator) are urgently looking for a Work Package leader to join an existing consortium by 12 September 2025. The consortium will apply to the HORIZON-CL6-2025-01-ZEROPOLLUTION-07_Reducing pollution from the food and drink industries call (submission deadline 17 September 2025).
Project details: “MarineSense” (draft title) aiming to develop and demonstrate an integrated sensing platform tailored to detect emerging pollutants (MNP, PFAS & antibiotics) in wastewater derived from key sectors of food and drink industry. It will further evaluate the environmental and human health impacts of these targeted pollutants, with particular focus on their combined (cocktail) effects and potential for long-term impairment.
Partner sought: combined expertise in EU regulatory frameworks and policy processes with substantial experience in stakeholder engagement and science communication to lead “WP6: Policy Alignment and Regulatory Innovation” & “WP8: Stakeholder Engagement, Co-Creation and Communication”.
The profile should demonstrate recognized competence in analysing regulatory enablers and barriers, translating scientific results into evidence-based policy recommendations, and engaging with institutions as JRC & EFSA to ensure alignment with key European strategies (Zero Pollution, Farm-to-Fork, REACH, One Health). At the same time, the partner should have a strong track record in stakeholder mapping, co-creation, and dissemination within EU projects, with proven ability to design and implement targeted communication strategies for citizens, industry and policy audiences, and to monitor their effectiveness. This dual expertise will ensure that project outcomes are embedded in EU policy frameworks while achieving broad visibility, trust, and uptake across the food and drink industry sectors.
