Public Consultation and Call for Evidence for the Upcoming Circular Economy Act

The European Commission has launched a public consultation and the Call for Evidence for the upcoming Circular Economy Act

The Circular Economy Act, set for adoption in 2026, is all about speeding up Europe’s shift to a more circular economy. The goal? To boost the EU’s economic security, resilience, competitiveness and decarbonisation. It also aims to create a single market for secondary raw materials, and promote supply and demand for high-quality recycled materials.

Whether you’re a research organisation, university, company, or just someone passionate about sustainability, this is your chance to help shape the future. Share your thoughts via Have Your Say portal.

The consultation is open until 6 November 2025 – don’t miss it!
