The ERC Starting Grant 2026 Call is Open!

Are you a talented early-career scientist who has already produced excellent supervised work, is ready to work independently, and shows potential to be a research leader? If so, the ERC Starting Grant 2026 may be for you. Researchers of any nationality who are 2-7 years post-PhD (defense), who have a scientific track record showing great promise, as well as an excellent research proposal, may apply.

If you are planning to submit a proposal to the ERC-StG-2026 call with a host institution based in Switzerland, we invite you to join our National Information Event on 18 August 2025 from 12:00-13:30. The event will provide tips and advice from a previous ERC-StG Grantee and Panel Member, as well as essential information on the principles and conditions of the 2026 call from the ERC Executive Agency.
