The Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE) scheme promotes international and inter-sector collaboration through research and innovation staff exchanges.

The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE) offers exchanges of staff members involved in research and innovation to develop sustainable collaborative projects and transfer of knowledge. The RISE funding scheme is bottom-up, meaning there are no topics predefined by the European Commission. RISE projects are carried out within the framework of a consortium involving 3 or more partners.

Organisations actively involved in research/innovation are invited to propose joint projects. Support is provided for the development of partnerships in the form of joint research and innovation activities between the participants.

The 2018 RISE call for proposals is open from 22 November 2017 with a deadline on 21 March 2018.

More information can be found in the Guide for Applicant on the Participant Portal

A webinar about the RISE action with information on the eligibility, mobility criteria as well as the basics of proposal writing will be held on 12 December 2017. You can register for the Webinar here.
