The European Commission published the public stakeholder consultation on the Joint Technology Initiatives (JTIs). The objective is to collect information from a wide audience on different aspects of the implementation of the JTIs operating under Horizon 2020. The consultation is open until 10 March 2017.

The consultation covers the period 2014-2016. In total, there are six JTIs, namely Electronic Components and Systems for European Leadership (ECSEL), Fuel Cell and Hydrogen (FCH), CleanSky, Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI), Shift2Rail and Biobased Industries (BBI). The former four were already operational under FP7 (although ECSEL is a merger since 2014 between the previous JTIs Artemis and ENIAC), whereas the latter two were newly established in 2014.

All citizens and organisations are welcome to contribute, especially researchers, industry, entrepreneurs, innovators and all types of organisations that have participated in Horizon 2020 and in calls for proposals published by the Joint Undertakings in particular. The results will feed into the report on the interim evaluation of Horizon 2020.
