ERASysAPP, the ERA-Net for Applied Systems Biology Research, is launching its second joint call for project proposals.
This transnational call, named ”Further Transfer of Systems Biology Knowledge into Applications” invites interested researchers from ten participating countries to set up international research consortia and to submit joint project applications.
Thematically, the focus of this call is on translational systems biology research. Project proposals must address microorganisms, plants and/or animals. The planned research should deal with biological or physiological processes of general interest to the life sciences and biotechnology. Human health and medical topics are excluded.
For Switzerland, SystemsX.ch has granted a maximum budget of EUR 500,000 for this call. Swiss research groups may apply for up to EUR 250,000 per project proposal. Ineligible are research groups who have already received funding under the first joint ERASysAPP call.
The participating countries in this second ERASysAPP call are Cyprus, Estonia, Germany, Iceland, Latvia, the Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Sweden and Switzerland.
The submission deadline for proposals is January 14, 2015.
