Euresearch - Swiss Guide to European Research and Innovation

Euresearch is the Swiss network mandated by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation providing targeted information, hands-on advice and transnational partnering related to European research and innovation programmes.

The network is composed of a Head Office in Bern and Regional Offices at each University and (Swiss) Federal Institute of Technology.

Swiss Participation in Horizon 2020

In its meeting of 22 October 2014, the Federal Council approved the agreement on Switzerland’s participation in the Horizon 2020 research programme. The agreement covers Switzerland’s partial association to the programme between 15 September 2014 and 31 December 2016.

Partnering Event AquaMatch 2015

During Aquatech Amsterdam an international Water Technology & Innovation Partnering Event is organised. It enables companies and research institutes to find partners for cooperation:

  • For new technologies to license or acquire
  • For buyers or development partners
  • For partnerships for future international funding calls (e.g. H2020, Eurostars)

EBOLAVAC - Fast Response to Develop a Vaccine against Ebola

The European consortium involved in the Horizon 2020 project “EbolaVac” aims to develop a vaccine against Ebola to stave off outbreaks of the disease.

“Euresearch’s ability to mobilise support on short notice, as well as their knowledge of procedures, framing and terminology is indispensable”, Prof. Blaise Genton, Lausanne University Hospital, University Medical Polyclinic, Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute.
