Euresearch - Swiss Guide to European Research and Innovation

Euresearch is the Swiss network mandated by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation providing targeted information, hands-on advice and transnational partnering related to European research and innovation programmes.

The network is composed of a Head Office in Bern and Regional Offices in each University and Swiss Federal Institute of Technology.

Swiss Participation in Horizon 2020

In its meeting of 22 October 2014, the Federal Council approved the agreement on Switzerland’s participation in the Horizon 2020 research programme. The agreement covers Switzerland’s partial association to the programme between 15 September 2014 and 31 December 2016.

Marie Curie Project: Important Breakthrough

Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellows detected gravitational waves, or ripples in the fabric of space-time, caused by the collision of two black holes.

The GraWiToN project, co-responsible for this breakthrough, is an Initial Training Network, funded under the FP7 Marie Curie Actions, in which 14 EU-supported young researchers participate.
