Euresearch - Swiss Guide to European Research and Innovation

Euresearch is the Swiss network mandated by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation providing targeted information, hands-on advice and transnational partnering related to European research and innovation programmes.

The network is composed of a Head Office in Bern and Regional Offices at each University and (Swiss) Federal Institute of Technology.

Swiss Participation in Horizon 2020

In its meeting of 22 October 2014, the Federal Council approved the agreement on Switzerland’s participation in the Horizon 2020 research programme. The agreement covers Switzerland’s partial association to the programme between 15 September 2014 and 31 December 2016.

H2020 First Call Results Published by the European Commission

The first call results of H2020 are now available in an official brochure that can be downloaded or ordered as a hardcopy.
The Swiss figures look as follows:

  • the share of eligible applications went down from 2.9% to 1.8% compared to FP7
  • the share of participations in signed grant agreements went down from 3.3% to 1.9% compared to FP7

ScienceComm'15 in Short

The 5th ScienceComm conference, the Swiss congress of science communication, will take place on 24 and 25 September 2015 at the Landhaus culture centre in Solothurn and will focus on the following topics: "Crisis of Science" and "Open Science / Citizen Science".
