The SNSF Consolidator Grant Call (SNSF CoG) 2014 is now open. SNSF CoGs are part of the Temporary Backup Schemes, which offer researchers a temporary substitute for funding schemes of the European Research Council (ERC), from which Switzerland has been excluded.
The SNSF Consolidator Grants are aimed at researchers who wish to consolidate their own research group. They must have acquired 7 to 12 years research experience after completing their doctorate and must be working or negotiating a position at a Swiss research institution. The SNSF Consolidator Grants are open to all scientific disciplines.
Researchers who wish to submit an application for an SNSF Consolidator Grant need a "mySNF" user account. The SNSF hotline for queries regarding applications is open from Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. It is in place until the submission deadline on 20 May. The hotline number is: 031 308 22 22. Researchers may also send their questions via e-mail.
