What it takes to be competitive

    23-05-2018, 12:15–14:00 in Lausanne
    Deadline passed on 22.05.2018

The European Research Council (ERC) funds prestigious ground-breaking frontier research projects across all fields of science and is a stepping stone to a successful academic career. Starting and Consolidator Grants target promising scientists who obtained their PhD > 2 and ≤ 12 years ago and have excellent scientific achievements (according to their research age).

This event will provide participants with comprehensive information on the ERC Starting and Consolidators Grants schemes. Participants will gain a good understanding of the proposal format and evaluation criteria and get hints on how to keep these in mind when planning a future application. The event is open to early and mid-career researchers who are interested in submitting an ERC application in the future.
