    Food Security, Sustainable Agriculture and Forestry, Marine and Maritime and Inland Water Research and the Bioeconomy

    The specific objective is to secure sufficient supplies of safe and high-quality food and other bio-based products, by developing productive and resource-efficient primary production systems and fostering related ecosystem services, alongside competitive and low-carbon supply chains. This will accelerate the transition to a sustainable European bio-economy.
