    Food Security, Sustainable Agriculture and Forestry, Marine and Maritime and Inland Water Research and the Bioeconomy

    The specific objective is to secure sufficient supplies of safe and high quality food and other bio-based products, by developing productive and resource efficient primary production systems and fostering related ecosystem services, alongside competitive and low-carbon supply chains. This will accelerate the transition to a sustainable European bio-economy.

    The work programme for 2018-2020 is structured in 3 calls:

    • Sustainable Food Security SFS
      Resilient and resource efficient value chains
    • Blue Growth BG
      Demonstrating an ocean of opportunities

    • Rural Renaissance RUR
      Fostering innovation and business opportunities
