    Public Private Partnerships

    The aim of the Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) is to fund research and innovation in several key industrial sectors to boost competitiveness and support employment, while at the same time significantly contributing towards a more green and sustainable economy.

    The multi-annual research and innovation roadmaps are proposed by a constituted high-level industry group and open for stakeholder consultation, to be finally adopted by the European Commission. The PPP calls are be launched under the pillar “Leadership in Enabling Industrial Technology" (LEIT).

    The current PPPs are:

    • Factories of the Future (FoF)
    • Energy-efficient Buildings (EeB)
    • Green Vehicles (GV; replacing Green Cars)
    • Sustainable Process Industry through Resource and Energy Efficiency (SPIRE).
    • High Performance Computing (ETP4HPC)
    • Robotics (euRobotics)
    • Photonics (Photonics21)
    • Big Data (Big Data Value - BDVA)
    • Advanced 5G Network Infrastructure (5G-PPP)
