The move towards a low-carbon Europe with secure supply at affordable prices, requires a profound transformation of the energy system, from production to demand, to strengthen the EU 2020 and 2030 energy targets. The SET Plan aims at increasing the efforts in research and innovation and enhancing the market uptake of new solutions as well as strengthening EU worldwide leadership in the development of energy technological solutions.
This Conference will represent a unique forum for experts, researchers, producers, stakeholders and representatives of national and EU institutions to have in-depth discussions on the future developments of the SET Plan needed to respond to the grand energy challenges ahead of us.
The next revision of the SET Plan (the Integrated Roadmap) will be presented during the conference. The SET Plan is an important reference document for the Energy topics and Work Programme as well as Energy propoals.
The Conference web site will be on line with updated information including registration from September 2014. The conference will take place at the Auditorium Antonianum.
