    Various research groups of the Maimonides Institute of Biomedical Research of Cordoba in Spain wish to participate as partners in various topics within health, demographic change and wellbeing

    Several research groups of the Maimonides Institute of Biomedical Research of Cordoba in Spain would liket to join consortia for the following topics of the Horizon 2020 challenge health, demographic change and wellbeing:

    • PHC 1-2014: Understanding health, ageing and disease: determinants, risk factors and pathways
    • PHC 3-2015: Understanding common mechanisms of diseases and their relevance in co-morbidities
    • PHC 10-2014: development of new diagnostic tools and technologies: in vitro devices, assays and platforms
    • PHC 12-2014/2015: Clinical research for the validation of biomarkers and/or diagnostic medical devices
    • PHC 13-2014: New therapies for chronic non-communicable diseases
    • PHC 15-2014/2015: Clinical research on regenerative medicine
    • PHC 16-2015: Tools and technologies for advanced therapies
    • PHC 23-2014: Developing and comparing new models for safe and efficient, prevention oriented, health and care systems
    • PHC 24-2015: Piloting personalized medicine in health and care systems
    • PHC 26-2014: Self-management of health and disease: citizen engagement and health

    The research foci of the Maimonides Institute of Biomedical Research of Cordoba lie in the field of infectious diseases, oxidative and nitrosative stress in acute and chronic liver diseases, nutrigenomics and metabolic syndrome, Calcium metabolism, vascular calcification, genetics and behavioural diseases, metabolomics, oxidative stress and nutrition, radiation oncology, and quality assurance.
