    Electronic Components and Systems for European Leadership (JTI ECSEL) Information Event and Call Opening

    Switzerland is now eligible for the 2018 ECSEL Call. An information event for potential Swiss participants will be held in Neuch√Ętel on 23 March 2018. Registration for the event is open until 20 March.

    The Swiss Federal Council adopted on 9 March 2018 the agreement for the participation of Switzerland in the Joint Technology Initiative Electronic Components and Systems for European Leadership (JTI ECSEL).

    This European industry driven partnership initiative supports transnational collaborative Research and Development projects in the fields of Micro- Nanoelectronics, Systemintegration and intelligent Systems.

    The agreement between Switzerland and the ECSEL Joint Undertaking enables the Swiss industry, SMEs research institutes to take part in the current ECSEL call 2018 with additional national co-funding which is open for proposals until 26 April 2018 for project outlines.

    The State Secretariat for Research, Education and Innovation (SERI) is organising an information event at Microcity on 23 March in Neuch√Ętel.
