To encourage researchers to move across borders, Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions offer additional funding to support existing or new regional, national and international doctoral and fellowship programmes for research training and career development.
Applicants for 'COFUND' can be public or private bodies that are responsible for funding and managing fellowships or research training programmes: ministries, research academies or agencies, international organisations, universities.
Please note that Switzerland is currently considered as a Third Country and Swiss institutions cannot be beneficiaries nor coordinators of this Marie Sklodowska-Curie Action. However, Swiss organisations can be partners in a COFUND with a coordinator in a EU member state or associated country and receive money e.g. for training activities.
The 2014 budget for MSCA 'COFUND' is € 80 millions. The call will close on 2 October 2014.
