Euresearch - Swiss Guide to European Research and Innovation

Euresearch is the Swiss network mandated by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation providing targeted information, hands-on advice and transnational partnering related to European research and innovation programmes.

The network is composed of a Head Office in Bern and Regional Offices at each University and (Swiss) Federal Institute of Technology.

Swiss Participation in Horizon 2020

In its meeting of 22 October 2014, the Federal Council approved the agreement on Switzerland’s participation in the Horizon 2020 research programme. The agreement covers Switzerland’s partial association to the programme between 15 September 2014 and 31 December 2016.

H2020 First Call Results Published by the European Commission

The first call results of H2020 are now available in an official brochure that can be downloaded or ordered as a hardcopy.
The Swiss figures look as follows:

  • the share of eligible applications went down from 2.9% to 1.8% compared to FP7
  • the share of participations in signed grant agreements went down from 3.3% to 1.9% compared to FP7

The Idiap Research Institute is one of the key partners of the EU ROCKIT Coordinated and Support Action (CSA) aiming at developing a research and technology transfer roadmap in multilingual and multimodal interaction.

Idiap is organising a half-day workshop in collaboration with Euresearch to discuss the current version of the roadmap and collect feedback.
