Introduction: The Transport Thematic in FP7 comprises aeronautics, sustainable surface transport and Galileo. Find out more about Transport in our R&D guide here.
Objective: develop safer, ’greener‘ and ’smarter‘ pan-European transport systems that will benefit all citizens, respect the environment, and increase the competitiveness of European industries in the global market.
Target public: Companies especially SMEs, Universities, Universities of Applied Sciences, Swiss Federal Institutes of Technology (EPFL and ETHZ), PSI.
Calls: You’ll find here all the open calls; expected calls; past calls.
Nb: calls in Transport are initiated by two Directorate Generals: DG TREN (policy oriented, short term) and DG RTD (medium to long term, more research oriented). Both DGs publish independent calls for proposal!
