Objectives: The objective of Health research under FP7 is to improve the health of European citizens and boost the competitiveness of health-related industries and businesses, as well as address global health issues. These general objectives are explained on the Europa website. Ethical issues always have to be addressed in a proposal.
Target public: Individual researchers, Universities, Universities of Applied Sciences, Swiss Federal Institutes of Technology (EPFL and ETHZ), SME, large companies and patient organisations.

European & Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP):
EDCTP aims to accelerate the development of new or improved drugs, vaccines and microbicides against HIV/AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis, with a focus on phase II and III clinical trials in sub-Saharan Africa.
