Are you keen to undertake your research project in Switzerland?
FP7 can help you!
When it comes to R&D and innovation, Switzerland is one of the most competitive countries in the world. Leading research institutions, such as CERN, Paul Scherrer Institute or CSEM are located in Switzerland. EPFL and ETHZ are ranked among the world’s top universities. Private companies of all sizes, doing research in health, ICT, food, etc. have chosen Switzerland as a research centre.
Switzerland has a long tradition of welcoming scientists from abroad. Each year, numerous researchers come and undertake their research projects in our country.
FP7, the 7th Framework-Programme for R&D of the European Union, offers financial support to researchers currently active outside Switzerland who want to come (back) and do research in Switzerland. In particular these two funding schemes are open to researchers of any nationality:
ERC - European Research Council
ERC aims to support scientific excellence in Europe.
Marie Curie Actions
Marie Curie Actions aim to increase trans-national mobility of experienced researchers.
